This Privacy Policy explains what information Litescope ("we", "us") collects and how we use it. Litescope is a local-first desktop and command-line application: it operates on databases on your own machine and does not upload, store, or transmit the contents of your databases to us.
In short: we never see your database contents. We process only your email address (for license delivery) and your license key (for verification). Payment data is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy.
1. Information we collect
Email address — provided at purchase, used to deliver your license key and important product notices.
License key & verification metadata — when the Software verifies a Pro key, it sends the key to our license server to confirm subscription status. We may log the timestamp and result of verification to enforce the license.
Payment information — collected and processed solely by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. We do not receive or store your full payment details.
2. What we do not collect
Your database files, schemas, table data, or query results — these never leave your machine.
Connection strings, credentials, or tokens for your Turso, Cloudflare D1, or local databases.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to deliver and verify your license, provide support, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Third-party processors
Lemon Squeezy — payments, billing, and tax (see their privacy policy).
Cloudflare — hosts our website and license-verification endpoint.
Email delivery provider — used to send your license key and account emails.
5. Data retention & your rights
We retain your email and license records for as long as your account or subscription is active, and as required for legal and accounting purposes. You may request access to or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
